V*I*Production

sustainable & ethical production in Europe

V*I*Production has a sustainable and ethical production policy, this manifests itself in:

  • waste management to prevent and sort different types of waste like cotton, paper and plastic
  • the use of laundries with proven awareness for the environment
  • fair wages
  • investment in own plotters to avoid unnecessary transport of paper patterns
  • where possible we sent produced garments direct to the shops or end-users, this requires a close cooperation with the brands we produce for
  • producing of boys shirts on demand for the Jan van Trier brands to avoid stock
  • producing jackets, trousers and skirts on demand for the Marquise junior brand
  • packing of trousers in re-used cotton bags made from leftover fabric for the Blue Ethic brand

Due to years of experience with all aspects of environmental policy, research and analysis, we only work with laundries that in our opinion meet the essential aspects of consciously dealing with the environment. Certification of these processes is a very usefull tool but not the only one, real awareness is more important. It is a way of living.

Sustainability focuses on meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. The concept of sustainability is composed of three pillars: economic, environmental, and social—also known informally as profits, planet, and people.

In the coming period we will provide new information on our web site regarding to our sustainibility and ethical policy, please visit us regularly to stay informed.
